This honor is presented each spring at the MD20 Convention to one Lion from each District. Notice is sent to all club presidents in the late fall, and there are usually several deserving candidates nominated each year for this prestigious award. The Past District Governors of our district consider all applications for contributions of time, talent and resources, leadership qualities, sustained period of involvement, significant accomplishments in service and fundraising, participation in conferences, forums and conventions, and development of unique approaches to Club projects and problem solving.
